Designed for serious and committed students, Artist Track is a certificate program that encourages maximum musical growth. Participating students demonstrate mastery of musical and technical benchmarks through annual testing and performances. Successful Artist Track students are encouraged to enter outside events and are eligible for scholarships.

Program Requirements
Practice Requirements
Student must practice efficiently in order to prepare technically and musically for required exams.
Honors Recital Participation
Student must participate in at least one (1) outside evaluation, event, or competition per annum.
Outside Events
Student must participate in at least one (1) outside evaluation, event, or competition per annum.
Progress
Student must complete Artist Track benchmark levels in order to remain in the Artist Track program.
Weekly Lessons
Weekly lesson must be a minimum of 45 minutes, a portion of which will be devoted to technique and theory.
Practice Instrument
Student must practice on an approved instrument. For piano students, practice instrument must be an acoustic upright 46″ or higher or an acoustic grand piano. Other instrumentalists must have an instrument approved by their instructor.
Additional Classes
Student must attend 1 – 2 additional classes per month at Artist Music. Classes will instruct in ensemble playing, theory, technique, performance, or other related topic (classes are included in the cost of tuition).
Lesson Term
Lesson commitment must be for a period of at least 12 months. Early termination fees will apply.
